Class B Driver - 2nd Shift 5PM to 5AM

Job Summary Daniels Health is hiring a driver for its Baltimore, MD location. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $29.00 per hour and a $3,000 new‑hire bonus after successfully completing the probation period. Location 1811 Portal St, Baltimore, MD 21224 Key Responsibilities Deliver medical waste and sharps containers to our healthcare customer locations within the Baltimore, MD area. Operate a 26‑ft box truck safely and in accordance with DOT regulations. Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer sites. Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships. Complete deliveries on schedule and clearly communicate any changes. Load, unload, and organize the truck as required by the schedule. Log hours and perform roadside inspections to remain DOT compliant. Push or pull a four‑wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs. Qualifications & Experience Valid Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record. Valid DOT medical card. Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26‑ft box truck. Completed a 7‑year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse. Experience with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle evaluations. Experience with DOT compliance, hour logging, and roadside inspections. Can‑do attitude and strong customer focus. Proven longevity in past employment. Touch freight experience. Benefits Opportunities for overtime.
