Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in an LTAC setting
- Implement and progress treatment plans through therapeutic exercise, gait training, ROM, and functional activities
- Conduct patient assessments, document progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient goals and safe discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and follow facility policies
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and patient and family education; support safe transfers and mobility

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain CT licensure)
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree required)
- Experience in LTAC or skilled nursing facility settings preferred; strong ability to work in a fast-paced LTAC environment
- Ability to work the described day shift; reliable for a 13-week travel assignment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable documenting clearly and collaborating with the care team
