From rehabilitation to new structures, you'll contribute to projects that enhance safety, improve mobility, and support the long-term resilience of our nation's bridge network—while mentoring engineers and shaping high-quality technical delivery.What You'll Do:Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for bridge projectsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staffMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructureComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staffWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredAdvanced proficiency with bridge design and modeling software (LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office requiredSpecific experience with prestressed girder design, bridge replacement, culvert design, and load ratings as well as the ability to sign and seal design documentsStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsAbility to lead a team and work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhy You'll Love It Here:Contribute to meaningful bridge projects—from inspections and rehabilitation to complex structural design—that improve safety and extend the life of critical infrastructureWork alongside bridge specialists delivering practical, cost-effective solutions grounded in deep technical expertise and real-world applicationGain exposure to a wide range of structures, from culverts to complex spans, with opportunities to expand your leadership and project ownershipCurious about the impactful work our Bridge team is doing?
