A Typical Day For a MRI Technician May Include Assists Physicians as needed Assists in the orientation of new staff and/or students Competent in the use of RIS & PACS system, and other IT programs utilized. Maintains a neat, clean and stocked work area. Obtains proper medical history and insures accurate patient demographic and medical information. Performs all standard techniques for procedure protocols Recognizes the significant of all structures visualized and is able to differentiate normal from abnormal and recognizes artifacts. Understands when to seek advice Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
