About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join their remote team, supporting projects originating from Paarl . You will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging video content that meets project objectives and brand standards. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, coupled with technical expertise in video editing software. You will collaborate closely with motion graphics designers, producers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality video assets for various platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and corporate communications, all within a flexible, remote work structure. Key Responsibilities Edit raw video footage into compelling and coherent narratives for various digital platforms. Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and other audio elements to enhance video content. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with brand messaging. Ensure all video content is technically sound, optimized for different platforms, and meets quality standards. Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project specifications in a remote setting. Requirements Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects. Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong understanding of video production workflows, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Familiarity with motion graphics and color correction techniques is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively remotely, supporting the Paarl -based creative department.
