CT Technologist Position

Location: New York

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 1500-2330 and 2300-0730, with weekend and holiday requirements as scheduled.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures on patients of all ages, from neonates to the elderly, utilizing two Philips CT scanners. The role includes performing venipuncture and injections as required, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care while adhering to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body parts including chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, c-spine, and PE studies.
• Administer contrast injections and venipuncture as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols while on duty.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification in CT and New York State DOH venipuncture certification are required.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Current New York State license or proof of application must be included at the time of submission.
