Front Office Manager High School Department: High School Education Services Supervisor: High School Principal Term of Employment: 12 months or 245 Days Salary Classification: Exempt 2 Job Summary: The High School Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the front office, providing high-level administrative support to school leadership and ensuring efficient coordination of office functions. This position supervises front office staff and serves as a key liaison between the school, district departments, students, parents, and the community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and supervise front office staff, including selection, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and delegation of tasks. Coordinate and oversee daily office operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including handling inquiries from parents, students, staff, and community members. Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, workshops, and school events; prepare agendas and materials as needed. Maintain confidential personnel records, process payroll actions, and monitor attendance and timekeeping systems. Oversee procurement and inventory of office supplies and equipment; manage requisitions and purchase orders. Prepare and manage reports related to budgets, expenditures, staffing, and school operations. Ensure compliance with district policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Support school leadership with special projects, data analysis, and strategic planning initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in district systems such as Tyler school ERP, and AESOP. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are important. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of office management practices, fiscal accounting, and customer service principles. Knowledge of school district procurement and purchasing procedures. Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a professional office setting, including supervisory responsibilities. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Other Requirements: Must be able to type a minimum of 55 wpm. Must be able to obtain and maintain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance card and pass a background clearance check. May be required to work outside normal working hours. Valid Arizona driver's license may be required. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Peoria Unified School District
