Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical ICU position requiring 2+ years ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a closed-model Medical/Surgical ICU caring for adult complex surgical patients, including burns, and acutely ill medical patients
• Burn patients currently make up less than 10% of the patient population, and no burn experience is required
• Patients cared for by a multispecialty team including APPs, residents, consultants, and 24/7 in-house attending ICU physicians supported by critical care fellows
• 36 hours per week on a Day/Night Rotating schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration via NURSYS and BON
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support within a collaborative, closed ICU care model
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
• No parking validation provided; public transportation or paid parking options available nearby
