Registered Nurse

High acuity floor, surgery trauma unit. Must be willing to work given shifts; no block schedules. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. No requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. Patient population includes surgical patients, gunshot victims, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. Patient ratio is 5:1. Phlebotomists are available on the unit. A unit secretary is present during night shifts. Emergency department nurses and admitting unit staff complete a nurse handoff.
