Quality Inspector
We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector with hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers and gauges to inspect CNC machined parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality. This is a 1st shift position located in Jackson, MI.

Quality Inspector Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 15.00 to $ 17.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday)
- Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Packaging/Assembly:
- Visual inspection of parts
- Assemble parts per shipping Instructions
- Adding various components: O Rings, Caps, Nuts/Sleeves
- Pack in appropriate Box with label per shipping Instructions.
Boxing/Inspection:
- Help get parts from the parts washers to the Boxing stations.
- Sorting parts while doing visual inspection and using air hose if needed to remove shavings and other particles
- Put parts in specified containers, document part no., qty. and heat no .on proper container.
- Move boxes of parts from the boxing station to the Shipping Department.
Inspection:
- Visual Inspection of Parts ran on CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, and Screw Machines.
- Blueprint reading
- Use of micrometers, calipers, and other various gauges
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- Must have Blueprint reading ability.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Computer skill. Creating folders and scanning Material Certifications.
- Must be able to Identify visual defects on turned or milled metal Products such as cracks, burrs, shavings, out of roundness conditions.
- Must have experience with micrometers, calipers, and other various gauges.
- Comfortable lifting 30lbs.
