Physical Therapist - *Outpatient Ortho

This position is hospital-based for outpatient therapy at North Carolina Speciality Hospital. The hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Requirements Qualifications and Experience Graduate of an accredited PT/OT School State of North Carolina Therapy License Required Current CPR Certification Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and demands Comfortable using email, internet applications, and practice management software Strong customer orientation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and formulate a treatment plan based on the findings Implement appropriate patient care treatment techniques including exercise techniques, manual therapy interventions, modalities, and provide patient and family education Maintain all adequate documentation in a timely manner including closing encounters, obtaining Medicare certification, and appropriately coding for treatment provided Attend formal continuing education conferences to ensure the growth of skills and expanding clinical knowledge Supervise appropriate personnel including therapy assistants, technicians, and ancillary staff Assist with business and administrative facets of practice as deemed by the manager including marketing Assist with the formalization of new programs and continue to update present programs for growth of the practice Maintain all professional licenses, mandatory certifications, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance Perform other duties as required and assigned by Manager, including schedule changes and travel to office locations as assigned EmergeOrtho, P.A. complies with applicable civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.
