Biomedical services include both on-site and depot preventive maintenance, repair and warranty services, ranging from equipment inspections to extensive repairs, including compression device systems, defibrillators, EKG machines, electrosurgical units, external pacemakers, humidifiers, infusion pumps, LCDs, light sources, modules, patient monitors, printers, pulse oximeters, telemetry transmitters and tourniquets all completed to factory specifications./ppHeadquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, InfuSystem delivers local, field-based customer support and operates Centers of Excellence in Michigan, Kansas, California, Massachusetts, Texas and Ontario, Canada./ppThe Medical Device Logistics Specialist supports healthcare clients by delivering, cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring the readiness of medical equipment, primarily infusion pumpsacross clinical and satellite locations in a defined geographic area. This role ensures equipment is processed efficiently between patient uses in compliance with company protocols and healthcare standards. Working in a highly mobile, field-based environment, the specialist is responsible for transportation, basic device checks, decontamination, and maintaining accurate documentation in the companys management systems. As a key liaison to customers, this role helps ensure timely equipment availability and delivers high-quality, customer-focused service while maintaining accountability and attention to detail./ppIn this role, the ideal candidate will:/pulliPerform cleaning, disinfection, and basic maintenance of company devices used in clinical settings./liliEnsure timely turnaround of devices between patient uses to support uninterrupted clinical operations./liliMaintain accurate records of device usage, processing, and inventory./liliFollow all infection control and safety protocols as outlined by both the company and the customer site./liliCommunicate effectively with clinical staff and internal teams to report issues, request supplies, or escalate concerns./liliConduct routine checks to ensure devices are functioning properly and report any malfunctions./liliSupport training and onboarding of new staff at the customer site as needed./liliMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area./liliConsistently uphold and exceed QA and QC standards while meeting production goals by adhering to established protocols, working efficiently, and collaborating with team members and client personnel to ensure high-quality results and optimal workflows./liliDelivering cost-effective and timely maintenance of medical devices to meet customer needs./liliRecording key details of service actions and observations regarding devices conditions and operations. This essential process helps build a devices history and provides customers with more valuable insights.
