About the Position This position is located at 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. It is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Federal employees in Alaska receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. Who May Apply US Citizens may apply. Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work from National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). All qualifying experience, including volunteer experience, will be credited. Resumes must clearly describe relevant experience. Qualifications Specialized Experience: One year of experience assisting with reviewing contract packages, providing pre‑planning contract package assistance, and performing account and/or invoice auditing. This level of experience is typical for a GS‑09 position. Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position (e.g., Contracts, Purchasing, Business, Finance, or Industrial Management). Combination of Education and Experience: A combined education and experience pathway may be considered if the computed percentage of requirements is at least 100%. Compute the percentage by: (1) dividing total months of experience by 12, and (2) dividing total graduate semester hours beyond the second year (total graduate semesters minus 36) by 18.
