Job Opportunity: PRN Respiratory Therapist

We are looking for a dedicated PRN Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center in Eastern Idaho. This role involves delivering evidence-based respiratory care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, children, and adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' cardiopulmonary status to determine appropriate care.
• Initiate and manage oxygen therapy , ventilators, and airway management devices.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to assess respiratory function.
• Respond effectively to rapid response and code situations .
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) .
• Ensure the safety and functionality of all medical equipment .
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
• Support patient and family education in a high-acuity, team-oriented setting.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist .
• Experience in a trauma center or similar high-pressure environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
