Location: Onsite (Monday Friday) Type: Full-Time Location: SAN JOSE, California
Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Technician who bridges the gap between traditional logistics and modern IT asset management. In this role, you won't just be moving boxes; you will be the backbone of our hardware lifecycle, managing high-value technical equipment across multiple operating systems. From coordinating international shipments to managing e-Waste protocols and performing precision inventory counts, you'll ensure our hardware gets where it needs to gosafely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics:
- Manage daily Receiving (Inbound) operations, ensuring all items are inspected, scanned, and logged accurately.
- Execute complex Shipments, including Inner-Office transfers, Domestic freight, and International logistics (handling customs documentation where applicable).
- Technical Asset Management:
- Navigate and utilize various operating systems (Chrome OS, Windows, and gLinux) to track assets, wipe data, or configure basic hardware settings.
- Manage the end-to-end e-Waste process, ensuring environmentally friendly disposal and secure data destruction in compliance with company policy.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain high levels of accuracy through regular Cycle Counts and physical audits.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Materials Handling:
- Safely operate warehouse equipment to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and "audit-ready" warehouse floor.
Qualifications & Skills
Requirement - Description
Tech Savvy - Proficient with Chrome OS and Windows. Experience with gLinux (or similar Debian-based systems) is a major plus.
Logistics Expertise - Solid understanding of domestic and international shipping standards.
Physical Stamina - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Inventory Savvy - Prior experience with cycle counting and asset tracking software.
Reliability - Consistent availability for an onsite Monday-Friday schedule.
