Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role involves working nights in a dynamic and supportive environment handling various patient cases, including deliveries and newborn assessments.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol; monitor for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and interventions
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Current NRP and ACLS certifications required
• Certification from AWHONN or NCC in Fetal Monitoring (as specified)
