Manager - Accounting

Location: 1668 S. Garfield Ave. 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801 Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000 / year Description As the Manager – Accounting (IPA), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations of the company, reporting to the Director - Accounting. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and conduct insightful financial analysis. Working closely with the Director - Accounting and cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to the financial planning process, help maintain a robust financial control environment and contribute to the assessment and implementation of new financial systems and processes. Review IPA/RKK related journal entries: capitation, claims, risk pools, AR/AP, and accrual related entries. Review, maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis; prepare monthly balance sheet analyses for multiple assigned entities. Ensure accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end close. Work closely with the reporting team to provide accurate and timely information for SEC filing and to the external auditors. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Manage internal and external ad‑hoc requests. Work with external auditors to provide support as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Solid understanding of GAAP, as well as industry‑specific accounting practices related to healthcare. Proficiency with accounting software, preferably Sage and advanced MS Office Suite skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801. The national target pay range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job‑related factors.
