Job Title: RN – Cardiovascular Critical Care
Location: Utica, New York, 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Schedule: Night Shift (3 x 12) – 36 hours/week (Exact timings discussed during interview)
Start Date: 04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026

 
Job Requirements & Highlights:
Minimum 2+ years of Cardiovascular Critical Care RN experience
Fresh Hearts experience – Required
Travel experience – Required
EPIC experience – Required
Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS

 
Travel Guidelines:
75-mile radius rule applies
Local candidates accepted (at adjusted local pay rate)

 
Unit Information:
Unit: CTICU
Beds: 6 (CTICU) / 2 (Unit)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Patient Age Group: Adult

 
Common Diagnoses:
Cardiovascular Surgery (CV Surg)
Cardiogenic Shock
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
Aortic Stenosis (AS)
Mitral Regurgitation (MR)

 
Technology:
• EPIC
• Omnicell

Floating: Required if census is low
