Position Overview

Amend Treatment is seeking a detail-oriented Information Entry Clerk to enter, update, and maintain accurate records and information. This role supports the organization’s administrative operations by handling data carefully, protecting confidential information, and helping ensure records are organized and accessible to authorized team members. Because this position is within a behavioral health setting, professionalism, discretion, and respect for the people served are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter information into designated databases, electronic systems, and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
• Review source documents and records for completeness, consistency, and legibility before entering information.
• Update existing records, correct errors, and flag missing or conflicting information for follow-up.
• Organize, label, file, and retrieve electronic or physical records in accordance with established procedures.
• Handle sensitive organizational and client-related information discreetly and follow applicable confidentiality requirements and internal policies.
• Perform routine quality checks to identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate entries.
• Assist with preparing, scanning, and maintaining forms, reports, and other administrative documentation.
• Communicate with relevant staff to clarify information and resolve data-entry questions in a timely manner.
• Meet assigned deadlines and daily productivity expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Follow organizational procedures for data security, document handling, and records management.
• Provide general administrative support related to information management as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration, information management, or a related area is welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to enter and review information accurately.
• Basic computer proficiency, including comfort using email, word-processing tools, spreadsheets, and data-entry systems.
• Ability to organize information, follow instructions, and manage repetitive tasks reliably.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional approach to working with colleagues.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exercise sound judgment.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a consistent commitment to accurate work.

Desired Experience

• Up to two years of experience in data entry, clerical support, records management, or a related administrative role.
• Experience working with electronic records, databases, spreadsheets, or document-management systems.
• Experience handling confidential records or supporting a healthcare, behavioral health, or other privacy-sensitive organization is an advantage.
