Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Specialty Nurse is sought for a day shift position at a healthcare organization located in Pikeville, Kentucky. This opportunity involves working on the orthopedic unit with a focus on adult medical-surgical care. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kentucky or compact nursing license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical Floor setting; Experience with electronic medical records system EPIC is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience using EPIC electronic medical records system; previous experience in orthopedic units.
• Additional Information: Scrub colors for travelers include royal blue for intensive care units and black for other units.
