DENTAL ASSISTANT (EXPANDED FUNCTION)

DutiesHelpTake preliminary impressions for study models.Perform patient counseling on the cause of dental decay, proper oral hygiene practices, brushing and flossing techniques.Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.Trim model from impressions to construct custom impression trays.Chart examination and treatment information as relayed by dentist to patient records.Perform chair-side assistance in the expanded functions in all phases of dentistry treatment.
