OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Ann Arbor, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Serve long-haul dry-van lanes nationwide while representing HMD Trucking in Ann Arbor, MI. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver, you’ll move coast-to-coast freight in trucks under 3 years old equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, averaging about 2,500 miles per week.

Primary responsibilities:

• Safely transport dry-van freight, maintain accurate logs and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs to in-house support.
• Communicate with dispatch and comply with routing and hours-of-service requirements.

Qualifications & pay:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience. Pay starts at 65 CPM with safety, inspection and referral bonuses, home every two weeks, and benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
