As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a dynamic team, delivering outstanding care to patients in a high-risk obstetric setting. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive care to antepartum, C-section, and vaginal delivery patients
- Managing high-risk obstetric cases and administering medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
- Providing support across multiple campuses as required
- Utilizing EPIC EMR for precise documentation
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of an active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor & Delivery environment
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics in a level I trauma facility
- Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
