Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Parts

Fleet Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow our heavy-duty truck and trailer parts business throughout San Diego and the surrounding market.

This role is ideal for a relationship-driven salesperson who understands the heavy-duty aftermarket and knows how to develop business with fleets, repair shops, owner-operators, municipalities, and other commercial customers.

You will manage existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and serve as a trusted resource for customers who rely on fast, accurate, and dependable parts support.

Compensation

• Base salary of $46,800–$67,000 , based on experience
• Opportunity to earn additional income through the company’s commission program
• Company-provided truck
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with fleets, repair facilities, trucking companies, municipalities, and other commercial customers
• Grow sales within an assigned territory through regular customer visits, prospecting, and account development
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right truck, trailer, and fleet maintenance products
• Prepare quotes, follow up on open opportunities, and move orders through the sales process
• Work closely with branch, purchasing, and operations teams to provide accurate information and dependable service
• Maintain a consistent schedule of customer calls, visits, and follow-up activity
• Track sales activity, opportunities, and account information in the company CRM
• Monitor customer trends, market activity, and competitive pricing
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and strengthen long-term account relationships
• Meet established sales, margin, and account growth goals

What We’re Looking For

• At least three years of heavy-duty truck, trailer, or commercial vehicle parts sales experience
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty aftermarket parts, customers, and distribution channels
• Proven ability to build relationships and grow a sales territory
• Comfortable prospecting for new business and developing accounts from the ground up
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch and support teams
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Basic proficiency with email, CRM systems, and standard business software
