Nuclear Pharmacist - Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Pharmacist to oversee nuclear pharmacy operations and ensure the safe preparation, quality control, and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacy professional who thrives in a highly regulated environment and is passionate about safety, accuracy, compliance, and delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities

Nuclear Pharmacy Operations

• Oversee daily nuclear pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
• Prepare and compound radiopharmaceuticals, including radiolabeling procedures.
• Perform and oversee quality control testing to ensure product safety and accuracy.

Leadership & Team Support

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Assist with training, workflow management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance, productivity, and quality standards are maintained.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Support radiation safety and quality assurance programs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including USP standards.

Inventory & Operational Support

• Monitor pharmacy inventory, ordering, and reconciliation processes.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to materials and supplies.
• Support operational improvements and workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Active Pharmacist license and Nuclear Pharmacist license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Completion of an Authorized User program with 500 hours of experiential training.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nuclear pharmacy experience .
• Knowledge and experience with USP standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) experience.
• Experience with BioRX, RMIS, or similar pharmacy systems.
