Responsibilities Nuclear Pharmacy Operations
- Oversee daily nuclear pharmacy operations during assigned shifts.
- Prepare and compound radiopharmaceuticals, including radiolabeling procedures.
- Perform and oversee quality control testing to ensure product safety and accuracy.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Assist with training, workflow management, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to ensure compliance, productivity, and quality standards are maintained.
- Support radiation safety and quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including USP standards.
- Monitor pharmacy inventory, ordering, and reconciliation processes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to materials and supplies.
- Support operational improvements and workflow enhancements.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
- Active Pharmacist license and Nuclear Pharmacist license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Completion of an Authorized User program with 500 hours of experiential training.
- Minimum of 2+ years of nuclear pharmacy experience .
- Knowledge and experience with USP standards.
- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) experience.
- Experience with BioRX, RMIS, or similar pharmacy systems.
