As a US-Software Program Manager, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional automotive projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: US-Software Program Manager Location: Southfield, MI Pay Range: Not disclosed What's the Job? Lead software development activities supporting automotive EV products such as DCDC Converters, Transmission Control Units, and Power Distribution Units. Oversee embedded software project development from inception to completion, ensuring high‑quality delivery on schedule and in compliance with industry standards like ISO 26262. Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to align project schedules, create master software plans, and manage project proposals and estimations. Manage technical communication with OEM customers, facilitate steering committee meetings, and handle expectations effectively. Identify risks proactively, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate critical issues to leadership when necessary. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within embedded software development projects. Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to work within a cross‑functional matrix environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of industry standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262, with experience in automotive software development. What's in it for me?
