Job DutiesPerforms first level supervisory personnel management responsibilities that include overseeing appraising employee performance, hearing and resolving complaints, scheduling and granting leave, and advocating appropriate recognition.Coordinates the development of monthly performance reports and the collection of data in support of GPRA/PART reviews.Develops the law enforcement program budget, monitors expenditures and reviews budget documents to ensure proper integration.Prepares justification for purchases, develops long range budget plans and determines future requirements.Advises and makes recommendations to the Special Agent in Charge on matters regarding the operation and management of the Indian law enforcement program that increases the efficiency and the quality of work provided.Creates and maintains effective relationships with Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and their related entities, in order to successfully collaborate on cross-jurisdictional and cooperative situations.Directs and manages the investigation of complex and varied felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, involving both geographically isolated and densely populated areas.Ensures all investigations are properly conducted and documented with prescribed guidelines regarding time frames, deadlines and formats.
