Physician - Outpatient Pediatrician Kalamazoo/Portage, MI

Position Physician – Outpatient Pediatrician Location: BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo/Portage, MI. Overview Bronson Rambling Road Pediatrics is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified or eligible Pediatrician to join an established outpatient practice. The team includes 11 pediatricians, 6 physician assistants, and one pediatric psychologist. This hospital‑employed position runs Mon‑Fri 8:00‑17:00, with a rotational Saturday schedule of 8:00‑13:00. Responsibilities Provide outpatient medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive counseling. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Document all services in the patient medical record according to hospital policies. Consult with the Medical Director and other staff regarding patient care and education. Participate in process improvement, continuing education, and patient care programs. Supervise mid‑level medical and nursing staff as assigned. Assist in resolving patient complaints and inquiries. Qualifications Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics). Current unrestricted or pending licensure in the state of Michigan. DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette. Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care. Physical and mental stamina to perform required clinical tasks.
