Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will respond to sensitive situations, including access-controlled areas and behavioral incidents, while communicating professionally and working closely with the care team. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and the reporting of unusual conditions or policy concerns. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
