Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Variable Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Manage a patient assignment within a 27-bed Emergency Department, typically at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a wide variety of patient presentations including stroke and general emergency cases across adult and pediatric populations
• Participate in variable weekend shifts as requested (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period)
• Fulfill holiday coverage requirements including one major and one minor holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community-based Emergency Department setting
• Comfort caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Experience in or familiarity with stroke center protocols
