Meta Sales Specialist

Overview Job Type: Regular. Location: Best Buy 1776 - Lanham, MD 20706. Pay: $23 per hour. Schedule: 20 hours per week. Friday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm. Additional holiday shifts in November and December. About the Role Work closely with retail shoppers to recommend Meta products. Serve as the primary resource for customers seeking information about Meta’s products. Provide a sales experience that is interactive and informative. Train retail associates on new AI apps and tools; all necessary technology training is supplied by the team. Responsibilities Showcase Meta gadgets and demonstrate their benefits to customers. Build trust by understanding customer needs and confidently recommending appropriate products. Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally and positively. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success. Maintain clean, organized Meta displays and ensure promotions are visible. Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders; share knowledge. Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically; submit daily reports via mobile device. Work primary shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; adapt to store environments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum six months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred. Interest in AV and VR products is a plus. Ability to engage, demonstrate, and close sales. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Thrives in a fast‑paced team environment. Availability to work weekends and up to three weekday shifts. Own a smartphone with iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 compatible operating system. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, with hand/eye coordination. Reliable transportation to attend scheduled shifts.
