Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily manufacturing and production operations within the plant
Lead, train, and motivate production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
Monitor production schedules and ensure operational efficiency
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
Monitor staffing levels, attendance, and employee performance
Maintain accurate production and shift reports
Ensure compliance with automotive manufacturing standards and customer requirements

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and process improvement
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficient computer skills and experience with manufacturing systems preferred
Flexible availability to support all 3 shifts as needed

Preferred Experience:

Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards
Experience managing union or non-union production teams
