Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

CT and x-ray experience with venipuncture CRT/Fluoro CDPH Certification ARRT Certifcation BLS Certification Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
