Responsibilities Summary MarketSource is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountantwho wouldberesponsible forpreparing and reviewing financial documents,reportsand statements. This role would alsooversee all accounting procedures whileadvising ongeneral finance matters. Essential Job Functions: Prepare various financial statements and other internal or external financial reports and distribute the monthly financial reporting packagesin accordance withcompanypolicy Ensure accuracyand legal complianceofreports Organize,updateandmaintainthe general ledger including creation ofappropriate journalentries Research and document accounting activities to ensure compliance with company policy andgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) Perform account analysis and/or account reconciliations to ensureaccuratereportingandtimelyidentificationofitemsrequiring furtheraction Prepare information in support of annual external audit, including preparation ofauditschedules Recommendways to reduce costs and enhancerevenue Reconcile and review bankaccounts Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong mathematical and analytical skills Attention todetail Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accountingrequired At leastoneyear experience in accounting or a related fieldpreferred;recent college graduateswill beconsidered Four (4) in-office workdays per week and theoptionto work remote OR in officeon fifth (5th)day Additional Information MarketSource is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
