Branch Bookkeeper

Join the Midway Coop team in Burr Oak, KS!

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with people to join our team as a Branch Bookkeeper . This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of our Burr Oak location, providing excellent service to our customers while keeping transactions, records, and administrative tasks running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and by phone
• Process grain and fertilizer transactions accurately and promptly
• Assist with grain scale operations and daily transaction processing
• Prepare invoices and maintain accurate records
• Complete daily cash and credit reconciliations
• Assist with merchandise ordering, receiving, and inventory
• Provide administrative support for daily branch operations
• Work with team members across Midway locations and departments
• Promote Midway Coop products and services

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is a plus
• Cooperative or agricultural experience is preferred, but not required

This is generally a 40–45 hour per week, Monday–Friday position , with Saturdays as needed and additional hours possible during peak seasons.
