Step into a vital role as a travel pharmacist supporting a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with diverse clinical responsibilities and flexible scheduling options tailored to your preferences.

Location:

• Northern Central Wisconsin
• Small 40-bed hospital

Schedule Options:

• 4x10-hour shifts, days from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends
• Alternatively, a blocked schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off (day shift)

Contract Details:

• Immediate start
• 13 weeks minimum, with potential extensions

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage concurrent duties in a centralized inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC orders, reviewing pharmacy technician work, and responding to pharmacist phone inquiries
• Prepare and provide inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, unit dose meds for inpatient care, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support diverse patient populations across inpatient and outpatient surgery, medical/surgical units, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and emergency department settings
• Oversee an inpatient census typically ranging from 30 to 40 patients

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure and relevant credentials
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems highly preferred
• Competency in sterile and non-sterile compounding, including chemotherapy preparation
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong communication skills for seamless coordination with clinical teams
