Note: This is a fully onsite role for a minimum of 6 months. (Remote after 6-8 months)
Job Description:
We are seeking an Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance Architect with deep, hands‑on expertise in Finance modules to support major finance transformation initiatives. This role will act as a strategic partner to Finance and IT teams, ensuring Oracle Cloud solutions are designed, configured, and optimized to meet evolving business needs. The Architect will lead requirements analysis, solution design, testing oversight, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Oracle Fusion Finance capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements across Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax).
- Assess current financial processes and identify opportunities to improve or automate using Oracle Fusion functionalities.
- Translate business needs into detailed solution designs, configurations, and architectural recommendations.
- Lead or support module configuration, SIT/UAT planning and execution, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and architect for Oracle Fusion Finance, guiding best practices and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with integration and data teams to ensure smooth connectivity between Oracle and external systems.
- Create technical and functional documentation, including training materials for end users.
- Troubleshoot production issues, oversee defect resolution, and provide support during month‑end and quarter‑end close cycles.
- Stay updated on Oracle Cloud releases and evaluate their impact, recommending necessary adjustments or improvements.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working in Finance/IT with strong focus on financial systems.
- 3+ years of hands‑on, in‑depth experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance modules.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial operations, and system design concepts.
