Senior Test Lead

We are seeking a highly analytical Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to support the complete rewrite of the existing client platform. The project involves transforming a legacy WebSphere/Struts/JSP application into a modern Angular, Spring Boot, REST API, and Azure AKS-based architecture. The ideal candidate must possess strong API and UI automation expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience testing complex enterprise modernization programs where requirements often need to be reverse engineered. Key Responsibilities: Participate in reverse engineering sessions to understand undocumented functionality. Create test scenarios from existing application behavior and business processes. Design and maintain Playwright-based UI automation frameworks. Develop API automation using REST Assured and Postman. Validate Angular UI functionality and user workflows. Test Spring Boot REST APIs and service integrations. Perform Oracle SQL and PL/SQL validation. Validate MyBatis-based data access and backend processing. Support end-to-end, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Validate microservices interactions and downstream integrations. Contribute toward achieving 90% automated test coverage. Leverage AI-assisted testing for test generation, coverage analysis, and defect prediction. Work closely with System Analysts and Developers to document legacy and target-state behavior Skill Requirements: 8+ Years of Testing experience Strong in Playwright Automation Cucumber BDD REST Assured Postman API Testing UI Automation Testing Java Spring Boot API Testing Integration Testing Regression Automation Good in SQL & Oracle Validation PL/SQL Validation GitHub Agile/Scrum Other requirements AI Testing Skills (Mandatory Preferred Area) AI-assisted test case generation.
