Apartment Maintenance Technicians (Temp to Hire, $18-24/hr to start)

Successful and long-standing property management company has several openings for maintenance technicians.

Job duties are as follows:

The maintenance technician is responsible for safely maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the community in Gainesville, FL.

The main duties include but are not limited to diagnosing problems and making repairs, ensuring all upkeep, inventory, preventative maintenance, and repairs of the grounds, common areas, amenities, apartments, and buildings of the community are completed in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Candidates are expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and small power tools. All maintenance activities will follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times.

Experience : we are looking for candidates with 2+ years of maintenance, handyman or construction industry experience. Candidates should have professional appearance and good customer service personality. $18-24/hr depending upon experience. Temp to perm position. Company offers excellent benefits once hired permanently. Must be available to be on call on a rotating basis. Must have own vehicle for use during work hours.
