Chief of Staff

This position is located in Mission Support, Executive Office. The ideal candidate for this position will work with senior executives and staff to resolve problems prior to being elevated to the Deputy Associate Administrator and Associate Administrator for Mission Support. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of the announcement. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Communicating with stakeholders to promptly resolve critical issues, track progress, promote accountability and reducing operational and strategic risk and , Leading and coordinating diverse teams to complete high-priority, time-sensitive projects that directly support program goals and , Directing and overseeing complex organizational programs involving technical, administrative, and professional work across organizations and Providing senior-level advice and assistance to senior leadership on strategic, operational, business, and administrative matters of national significance.
