\n About this role: \n

\n

\n Platte Valley Medical Center is a 98 bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Brighton, Brighton is a growing community of about 38,000 people only 30 minutes from downtown Denver.\n

\n

\n Our Cancer Center at Platte Valley Medical Center is part of a larger group of centers across our 4 hospitals in the Denver and surrounding areas. So, you would be a part of team of 7 oncologists collaborating across sites to care for patients, but based at Platte Valley Medical Center.\n

\n \n

\n The Platte Valley site has 2 exam rooms and 12 infusion chairs. Our office is staffed with a Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant, 9 RNs (clinic and infusion), a Medical Assistant, Registered Dietician, Social Worker, a Clinical Pharmacist and Tech, Financial Advocate, and front office staff to help this practice run smoothly.\n

\n

\n Here are some highlights you can expect from this employed solo practice:\n

  \n Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm. Our oncologists work 40 hours on a 4 day week.\n

\n
• \n

  \n You’ll be on call ~1:6 for all locations; Good Samaritan Medical Center, Platte Valley Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Saint Joseph Hospital\n

\n
• \n

  \n Call is typically very light\n

\n
• \n

  \n A robust clinical trials infrastructure enabling participation in cutting-edge trials as part of an integrated cancer research program\n

\n
• \n

  \n Growth for the Oncology program in the Denver and surrounding areas will include another .5 FTE in the future for this location\n

\n
• \n

\n How we'll support you: \n

\n

\n Compensation: Our compensation plan is standard across the Denver Front Range. We offer a salary of $576,015 plus a wRVU production incentive. Call is paid out from first call shift at $450/weeknight and $1,890/weekend. Additionally, we are offering a $25,000 Sign on Bonus. A relocation bonus is also available to qualified candidates.\n

\n What you’ll bring: \n

  \n MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine\n

\n
• \n

  \n Unrestricted physician license in the state of CO or able to obtain\n

\n
• \n

  \n Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology\n

\n
• \n

  \n American Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline\n

\n
