Production Planning Analyst

Production Planning Analyst Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Production Planning Analyst supports Mativ's Supply Chain team by executing daily production planning activities to help ensure customer demand is met. This role focuses on data gathering, basic analysis, and system execution to support the planning team. This position works closely with planning, procurement, and operations to help maintain accurate schedules, monitor capacity, and provide timely information for decision‑making. Responsibilities and Expectations Support the S&OP process by gathering and preparing data inputs for reporting and review Assist the planning team with daily schedule updates, order changes, and rerouting of production as needed Monitor and review basic capacity data to help identify constraints or gaps and communicate findings to the planning team Perform routine reporting and data pulls using ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI Assist with month‑end inventory activities, including inventory reserve analysis and data validation Maintain and update production planning data in ERP systems to ensure accuracy and alignment with operations Track and report on key planning metrics such as schedule attainment, service levels, and lead times Support troubleshooting of production or supply issues by gathering relevant data and coordinating with the broader team Provide backup support across the planning team to ensure continuity of day‑to‑day operations Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and streamline routine planning processes Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to work with and update reports) Experience with PowerPoint and Power BI is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and grow WHAT WE OFFER Mativ benefits say a lot about how we care for each other.
