Travel RN - Labor & DeliveryAmerican TravelerLitchfield, Minnesota, United StatesAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 12Openings: 1$2,707.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring MedSurg floating and C-section prepping experience.DetailsCritical Access Hospital setting in the L&D unit with 4 beds plus 2 overflowUnit averages 8 to 15 births per monthPrimary responsibility in L&D with required postpartum, nursery, and mother-baby couplet careFloating required to Medical/Surgical unit with an assignment of 3-4 (possibly 5) patients on night shiftsPatient ratios: 1:1 for active labor and 1:3-4 for triageNight shift schedule, 7pm-7amWeekend requirement of every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)No on-call requirementsUses Epic EMRFloor-specific orientation of 2-3 shifts depending on comfort levelRequirementsActive MN RN license requiredMinimum 2 years of RN experience requiredRequired certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal MonitoringC-section experience required, including comfort with prepping (assisting not required, but responsible for baby post-delivery)BSN not required for this positionAdditional InformationProvide labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery, and mother-baby couplet careTake patient assignments on Medical/Surgical unit as neededHoliday coverage required approximately every third holiday, rotating with permanent staffScrubs may be any color or pattern but must be clean and in good conditionFacility may cancel shifts up to 2 times every 6 weeks due to fluctuating censusHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
