Resident Care CoordinatorWe are seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Coordinator to enhance the experience of our residents and their families. This role serves as a key point of contact, ensuring residents feel welcomed, supported, and comfortable throughout their stay—from admission to discharge.Schedule:Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Full-Time) Occasional MOD weekendPay:Based on experience and qualificationsResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensure all open rooms are clean, staged, and move-in readyCoordinate closely with Admissions, Marketing, and Social Services for upcoming admissions and dischargesConduct routine rounds to address resident needs and requestsMaintain clean, organized, and welcoming common areasCommunicate effectively with residents and families, providing information or coordinating follow-upsConduct follow-up calls with families ("Caring Partner" calls)Confirm required equipment (oxygen, wheelchair, etc.) is ready prior to arrivalGreet new residents and families upon admissionAssist with:Inventory of belongingsClothing labelingOrientation to services and amenitiesHelp complete admission documentation with familiesCoordinate discharge readiness and timingConduct a brief resident satisfaction surveyCoordinate post-discharge room turnover with housekeeping and admissionsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferredExperience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitudePrevious experience in healthcare helpful, but not necessary.Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.Why Burlington?Become a part of a team that enthusiastically supports, recognizes, and rewards our team of caring professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those entrusted to our care.
