Job Summary The Dalles Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator / Receptionist to manage resident medical records through the facility's Electronic Health Records (EHR) system while providing front desk support. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate, confidential records, assisting with managed care reviews, and serving as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, and visitors.

Job Summary The Dalles Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator / Receptionist to manage resident medical records through the facility's Electronic Health Records (EHR) system while providing front desk support. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate, confidential records, assisting with managed care reviews, and serving as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, and visitors.
Essential Duties
- Maintain and protect confidential medical records.
- File and audit resident documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Track physician signatures and follow up on outstanding documents.
- Maintain admission and discharge records.
- Verify resident and Medicare documentation is completed within required timeframes.
- Assist with managed care reviews.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide receptionist support.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with PointClickCare software.
- One year of medical records experience in a long-term care setting.
- Previous receptionist or healthcare office experience.
- DOE (Dependent on Experience)
