As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping people feel supported throughout the site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management processes in support of site policies and daily operations.
• Support incident response and business continuity efforts by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders during medical, fire, weather, and/or other emergency-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
