About the Role

Newman Properties Inc is seeking a Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships with B2B clients and partners. This full-time role supports our sales efforts across a multi-state territory and requires strong organization, communication, and a customer-first approach.

Success in this role looks like consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, delivering consultative client experiences, maintaining accurate CRM records, and collaborating effectively with internal teams to align customer expectations with available capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business through cold calls, walk-ins, referrals, and networking.
• Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Conduct client consultations to understand branding, signage needs, budgets, and timelines.
• Recommend appropriate sign solutions, including materials, sizes, lighting, and installation methods.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on materials, fabrication methods, and installation best practices.
• Apply knowledge of local sign codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements to support compliant solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships by communicating project status updates clearly and proactively.
• Handle customer concerns or change requests professionally and work toward timely resolutions.
• Follow up after installation to ensure customer satisfaction and reinforce repeat business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems, including quotes and contracts.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required to support planning and performance tracking.
• Represent the company professionally by attending community events, trade shows, or client meetings as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the signage, printing, construction, or advertising industries.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a multi-state territory.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of signage materials, fabrication, and installation is a plus.
• Ability to understand and apply local sign codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward revenue targets.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
