We deliver government-approved ventilators, portable and stationary oxygen concentrators, and supplies to Veterans and their caregivers across Texas, Arizona, and Southern California – with world-class service at every visit.
About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, self-motivated Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver home respiratory equipment, train Veterans and caregivers on safe use, and complete monthly ventilator checks.
This is a non-clinical role: you will not provide bedside respiratory care. Your focus is equipment setup, education, and ongoing support so patients feel confident and stay compliant with their therapy.

Responsibilities

• Set up home respiratory DME and train Veterans and caregivers on its use, including oxygen delivery systems, aerosol therapy, suction, and invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Confirm patients and caregivers can safely operate and maintain their equipment
• Schedule and complete routine in-home follow-up visits, including monthly ventilator checks
• Review therapy settings to ensure accuracy and compliance with physician prescriptions
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and resolve issues remotely when possible
• Protect patient health information in compliance with HIPAA
• Help create and maintain policies and procedures aligned with company policy, Joint Commission standards, and VA patient safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and reliable transportation
• Working knowledge of oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care and supplies, aerosol therapy, suction, and invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
• Clear verbal and written communication and active listening skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Professional appearance and a service-oriented, patient-first attitude
