Program Manager

The Program Manager is the heartbeat of our non-profit & run club training experience. You'll be the main point of contact for our runners throughout the training season — from coordinating aid stations to showing up on run day with the energy and hospitality that makes GGC feel like home. If you love logistics, love people, and love running, this one's for you. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Oversee all event logistics for weekly and long runs, including planning, communication, and day‑of execution Determine aid station locations and quantities for each run, and communicate that plan to the Volunteer Manager for staffing and execution Manage and maintain the training schedule, keeping it current, accessible, and communicated across platforms Serve as the primary point of contact for all training‑related questions and runner concerns via In‑Person, WhatsApp, and Strava Create a welcoming, supportive run day environment through thoughtful hospitality — think: vibes, snacks, encouragement Monitor community channels and respond to runner questions in a timely, warm, and on‑brand voice Collaborate with coaches and leadership to ensure programming aligns with GGC's training philosophy and values Track attendance and runner engagement across platforms and flag patterns or needs to leadership YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU... Are a runner yourself and deeply understand what runners need before, during, and after a run Thrive in a fast‑paced, community‑driven environment and love coordinating moving pieces Communicate clearly and warmly — whether in person, over text, or in a WhatsApp thread at 6am Are proactive, reliable, and don't need to be told twice Have experience with Strava, WhatsApp, or similar community/training platforms Care deeply about inclusion and making every runner feel seen and supported COMPENSATION & DETAILS Part‑time / contract role — hours vary by season with peak during training cycles Requires availability on week days and weekend run days $5k per season Must be LA‑based and able to attend in‑person runs and events #J-18808-Ljbffr
