This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who thrives on making a tangible difference in the lives of students and enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience providing behavioral services to children or youth, preferably in a school or educational context
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and their application in educational environments
- Skill in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication skills for working with educators, staff, parents, and students
- Ability to provide guidance and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or paraprofessionals as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students requiring support
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to students’ needs and ensure fidelity of implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate ABA strategies into daily routines and classroom environments
- Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff working directly with students with behavioral needs
- Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions to maximize positive outcomes
- Participate in meetings and contribute behavioral expertise as part of student support teams
